Having been a leader for a large home health agency for several years, I thought that it would be easy to start my own home health agency. I quickly learned that without outside help and despite my experience in the industry, I wasn’t prepared to start my own agency. My first attempt with my initial accreditation survey was a failure. After that experience, I decided that I needed a consultant. After reaching out to several consultants, most of them didn’t even bother to return my phone call and when they did, I was not impressed with any of them. When I first contacted Antranette her level of responsiveness was refreshing. She came into my agency and quickly identified areas of weakness and with a streamlined process she helped me to organize everything in my agency to the point that my next survey attempt was a deficiency free survey.
